Can you get coronavirus from a package?

With the outbreak of coronavirus in some countries, more and more people worry about whether the mail or package carries the virus. Next, this blog will help you eliminate these confusions. Let us also pray for those who are in a fight with the virus. With the efforts of everyone staying in their homes, everything will be fine. We vigorously sanitize any products we receive and ship out.

We are very grateful that our workers and colleagues in the warehouse are healthy and not infected with the virus. We have enough hair stock in our warehouse, normal shipping, and complete customer service during this extremely hard period. However, our showroom is temporarily closed due to the mandate enforced by the county.

You can order as usual, and your sweet package takes 7-14  days. If you have any questions, our customer service center will help you with before-sale and after-sale.

We will continue to monitor developments and abide by advice from the government and the WTO to ensure this remains the case.

Although we’re simply calling it the “coronavirus,” it’s specifically the “severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)” and is one of the many known coronaviruses.

Research is ongoing regarding this version of coronavirus, but, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), it’s’s comparable to those that have come before it. It could stay on surfaces from as little as a few hours to at least a few days

With the possibility that SARS-CoV-2 could live for a few days on surfaces, you might worry about ordering things through the mail. (The thought certainly crossed my mind.) Thankfully, the WHO says there's nothing to worry about.

Why Are packages and Emails Less at Risk?

Getting tossed around in delivery trucks, sitting in hot semi-trailers, ending up in the cold holds of cargo planes—dealing with wildly variable humidity and UV exposure along the way—all make for very inhospitable conditions. Affirmative answer from the World Health Organization.

If you are really unsure, you can take some measures.

How to Properly Handle Packages and Mail?

Here’s a basic approach:

(It is best to wear a mask when going out to pick up the package)

1. Wash your hands after grabbing the mail or opening any packages.

2. Clean solid items with disinfectant to remove any viruses.

3. Dispose of the packaging immediately, preferably by putting it directly in your outside trash can or recycling bin, and then rewash your hands.

Some Tips  for effective self-protection

Wear a face mask

Please wear a face mask to avoid the virus spread by cough, sneezes.

Avoid close contact

Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Take the distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community. This is especially important for people who are at higher risk of getting very sick.

Clean your hands often

Wash your hands at least 20 seconds with soap and water, especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

Stay home if you are sick

If you are sick, please stay at home and have a check by yourself first; If you have a fever, cough, or shortness of breath which relates to COIVD-19, please come to the hospital immediately.
